Jia has always been attracted to the graceful oriental scenes, traditional figures and calligraphy from China and Japan. She developed her own taste of realism and romanticism with ink, pastel, charcoal and acrylic layering. Her goal is to demonstrate the classic themes using modern perspective and techniques.
